Surrounded by the soothing sounds of the             sea and the warmth of golden
           sands, life seems perfect. We’re living a life            many people dream of

           yet even in paradise, the occasional blues             can cast a shadow.



              BEAT THE BLUES

           Embrace the Morning Sun
           Start your day with natural light therapy by stepping out to greet the sun-
           rise. Kick starting your day with a dose of Vitamin D from the sun’s rays is
           your ticket to a brighter mood. Whether you take a stroll along the beach
           or practice yoga on the sand, the warmth of the morning sun has an unde-
           niable power to uplift your spirits.


           Connect with Nature
           Human beings have a deep connection with nature. If it’s been a while
           since you connected, start outside your window. Hang a bird feeder and
           watch the show. Take a break from the routine and explore the vibrant
           cacti, colorful desert flowers, and local wildlife that make the desert land-
           scape special. Our village may not be lush and green, but it’s a treasure
           trove of unique natural wonders.


           Listen to the Music
           Music is like medicine. Upbeat music can elevate mood and boost energy
           levels. Listening to calming music reduces stress levels by lowering cortisol
           (a stress hormone) and promoting relaxation. Even the blues can help you
           beat the blues!  Blues musicians know the power of singing about life’s
           troubles. And when you listen to them, it’s a good reminder that you’re not
           alone. It’s also great to dance to the music!



           Water Therapy
           Living by the sea has its perks. One of them is the therapeutic power of
           water. Whether you prefer a leisurely swim, a paddle boarding session, or
           simply dipping your toes in the water, the calming effect of water can wash
           away stress and invigorate your senses. Allow the sea to be your ally in
           banishing the blues.
