The twelfth edition of the annual Racing for Boobs off-road race, organized by
Fundación Mujeres Que Viven, in coordination with Corredores del Desierto (CODE),
was successfully held, March 16th in
Laguna Salada, Baja California. Our
San Felipe, Desert Dames started out
the race doing great...Kate Van Dyke
was the driver and Coey Wilson, was
co-driver. They made it up to a lap and
a half to go, when there was a major
issue with the front end which resulted
in zero steering. But the Ladies attitude
was best expressed by Coey, “We raised
a lot of money, but a broken car frame The Girls and Their Pit Crew
and no steering did make it hard to get Dustin, Keith, Dawnette, Coey, Kate, Mike & Robby
to the winners circle. But for me, we made it to the winners circle by getting closer to help-
ing so many people with cancer.” Congratulations ladies!!
