Traveling With Sandy
by Marcia Atkinson
Those who know me, know that I am a talker not a writer. But I want to share some
unforgettable travel experiences available with Sandy Reyes. When you travel with
Sandy, she shows you the warmth and hospitality of the real people of Mexico. You
will venture off the beaten track…by making tortillas with ladies from the Raramuri
people of the Copper Canyon, to hammering on red hot copper to form a bowl, to
holding a Monarch butterfly on your fingers (as millions fly around you), to dancing
to a 17-piece Mariachi orchestra in Guadalajara, to decorating your own Dia de los
Muertos bread in Oaxaca. She only takes small groups of people to places that
offer a unique perspective of Mexico. You will sample the flavors of Mexico’s rich
cuisine and witness examples of ancient history that are alive in today’s thriving,
growing culture. Mexico will embrace you with open arms, and the team is there
to simplify, modify, and smooth out any challenges you may have. They listen and
give you and all the members of the tour, a trip they will remember for a long time.
Sandy is a photographer, in constant search of the most beautiful and unique sites
that her country has to offer. You will be amazed when she takes you to places that
have been untouched and remain the same as they did thousands of years ago,
allowing you enjoy the natural raw beauty and magical history that Mexico has to
offer. Like my friend and travel guru Sandy says: “Life is Short, Travel More!”
