THE ARTIST APPROACHES THE LANDSCAPE WITH A
DEEP RESPECT FOR THE SCENE’S DEPICTION
Our cover was painted by artist, Pedro Cama-
cho, he better known in San Felipe as “El Peri-
co”, with a reputation as a great person with a
noble heart for his fellow men. He graduated
from the School of Plastic Arts at Casa de la
Cultura in Mexicali, being native of San Felipe
he returned home to work creating murals.
Among the outstanding and highly notable
works are the CROCODILE on the San Felipe
highway in front of EDR. Signage and design
of monumental letters on the SAN FELIPE
boardwalk and various murals for the Amer-
ican community such as SAN FELIPE BREW-
ING, BAJA SUN, SECOND CHANCE, THE LI-
ONS CLUB and many others. He began to dedicate himself fully to painting
realistic landscape in 2022 due to a disability, which did not discourage him,
on the contrary, it encouraged him to continue fully in this beautiful and fasci-
nating art that is the world of painting. Threw his art he has been able to pay
for his medical expenses & continue his journey to recovery.
