throughout Europe to check on their breweries. When they bought the Miller Co.,
Philip was transferred to Milwaukee and then Los Angeles. Philip retired in 2016 and
he and Tirzah, having seen their children go off to live their lives, moved to San Felipe.
Phillip has many projects
that keep him busy. Besides
building their home, he is
writing and recording music,
playing golf, growing fruit
trees and dabbling in some
steel fabrication. This year
he joined Tirzah in her studio
to start painting with acrylic
paints. “I like using palette
knives to create images of
boats and the sea.”
Philip enjoys the subject of boats, as it reminds him of the many hours spent as a
family watching the sunrise and sunsets while fishing in Africa. It is great to see his
beautiful work on the cover and inside page of San Felipe Breeze Magazine..
