He recalls his most challenging job was in 1981 when the Department Tourism of Baja
California contacted him to go on assignment to shoot ancient rock paintings and carvings
in the desert, to be cataloged and produce a collection of images for them. With a team, he
spent over a month and a half all over the desert locating and photo documenting the sites.
At the same time, the Government of Mexico held a contest on images representing each
state in Mexico and Victor submitted one of the images from the assignment and he won the
national prize. In 2002 Victor moved to San Felipe, and spent some time with his son Roberto
managing the Fandango Bar, which was a popular Country Western bar at the time. One
evening a friend came to the bar and gifted him a camera he was not using and renewed
Victor’s passion for photography. Since then, he has been working tirelessly, recording images
for everyone, often on his own time.
In my opinion, his fantastic sea, sand and sun Images are the best and he posts them
Victor with Municipal President almost daily for everyone to enjoy.
